Sankalp Se Siddhi- New India . New Resolve
India@75 Foundation and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) jointly with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India organised multi-stakeholder Conference “Sankalp Se Siddhi – New India . New Resolve” under the umbrella of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM), to commemorate India’s 75th year of Independence.
The convention on Sankalp Se Siddhi is a set of constructive conversations between the Government and Industry on the way forward in areas key to the country’s future. It is to measure India’s achievements of last decade, sector and state-wise and to understand the gaps/shortfall. Further, the focus is on engaging with multiple stakeholders for a collaborative and participative exercise and to evolve contours of vision of India@100 for a CII-led, Government – supported multistakeholder, development movement for a New India by 2047.
The 1st edition of Sankalp Se Siddhi held on 23 April at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan, Delhi witnessed the participation of three Ministers from Union Government Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Hon’ble Minister for Railways, Communications, Electronics and Information Technology; Shri Anurag Thakur, Hon’ble Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Youth Affairs & Sports; Smt Meenakashi Lekhi, Hon’ble Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture and Shri Govind Mohan, Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Government of India
The 2nd edition of Sankalp Se Siddhi held on 8 July in Mumbai saw active participation from Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India, Shri Eknath Shinde, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Government of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Government of Maharashtra, Smt Meenakashi Lekhi, Hon’ble Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture, Government of India.
The 3rd edition of Sankalp Se Siddhi Conference was held on 4 August in Bengaluru and witnessed the participation of Shri Amit Shah, Hon’ble Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation, Government of India, Shri G Kishan Reddy, Hon’ble Minister of Culture, Tourism and Development of North Eastern Region, Government of India; Shri Basavaraj Somappa Bommai, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Government of Karnataka and Shri Govind Mohan, Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Government of India
The Conference series deliberated on country’s achievements in different areas of development and the way forward for a New India@100 in 2047. The convention had brought together Government Dignitaries, Decision Makers, Industry Leaders, think tanks and prominent members of Civil Society on one platform to navigate a successful growth path for a new India. The series of Sankalp Se Siddhi was well attended with over 2000 delegates including several eminent names from the business fraternity.
