Sankalp Se Siddhi: New India. New Resolve.

The Ministry of Culture, Government of India, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and India@75 Foundation, jointly organized a convention called “Sankalp Se Siddhi” on 23 April 2022 at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan, New Delhi.
The conference was conducted under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Government’s flagship initiative to commemorate India’s 75th year of Independence. Sectoral Ministries and Industry leaders came together to deliberate on the constituents and roadmap of an inclusively developed India by 2047. This visioning exercise was one of the several being conducted by CII as a part of its forward-looking initiative called India@75 and beyond.

The convention was well attended and saw the likes of Smt. Meenakashi Lekhi, Hon’ble Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture; Shri Ashwini Vaish- naw, Hon’ble Minister for Railways, Information Technology, Communications and Electronics; Shri Anurag Thakur, Hon’ble Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Youth Affairs & Sports and, several eminent names from the business fraternity. The conversations were along three broad themes:
- Celebrating India@75 and making way for India@100
- Leverage digital platforms to build a future-ready India
- Volunteer engagement strategy for India@100

India@75 fireside chats with people passionate about shaping a new India
|
India@75 is organizing a serialized visioning exercise under the umbrella “I have a Dream”. This series of fireside chats, with sector experts, follows the one-to-one format for conversations. It explores their vision for their sector and its actualization.
The inaugural sessions thus far have covered issues such as sustainable infrastructure, affordable healthcare, digitalization, startups and innovation and philanthropy. Experts such as Vinayak Chatterjee, Dr Devi Shetty, Suhel Seth, Yashish Dahiya, Karan Bajaj and Ashutosh Gupta made for engaging interlocutors who brought knowldege and perspective to the table.

India@75’s landmark Functional Literacy Programme reaches more than 5500 people across 22 cities
|
FLiP, India@75 Foundation's intervention on inclusive digitalization, has completed its final phase of NGO-aided implementation. This capacity-building programme seeks to increase digital literacy in the informal sector and help it reap the benefits of digitalization.
Two NGO partners - Digital Education Foundation (DEF) and Centre for Alternative Dalit Media (CADAM) helped India@75 Foundation implement the programme at scale. Thanks to this partnership, the programme ran across 22 cities, reaching more than 5500 direct beneficiaries in India.
