Less waste, more growth: CII announces the second edition of the CII-3R Awards ![]() To grow sustainably, it is important for a populous country like India to adopt cost-effective and scientific practices of waste management. While there is sporadic adoption of such methods at institutional as well as individual levels, scientific waste management needs to be the norm instead of an exception. Industry, specifically the MSME segment, needs to actively participate in waste management in order to help the country achieve significant success in the area.
CII has started the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Awards (CII-3R Awards) to recognize and reward businesses that have taken significant steps in this area. The larger intent is to disseminate the winning practices among other businesses and encourage adoption.
The second edition of the awards has been announced. The last date for submitting your application is the 15th of August 2021. Read about the award here.
